Teaching Philosophy
I believe the best way to fall in love with music is to experience it through multiple senses—engaging with its many forms, genres, and characters. Music is not just something we hear; it's something we feel, see, and express through creativity and connection.
Each lesson is grounded in
four key goals:

Discovering the joy that comes from creating something beautiful and sharing it with others


Musical success requires
a team effort that includes a positive, knowledgeable, and dedicated teacher; encouraging and involved parents; and a student who sets goals and practices with consistency and purpose.
There is no "one size fits all" method in my studio. Every student brings a unique personality, learning style, and set of goals. I customize lessons to meet each student where they are, and to guide them where they want to go.
Finally, I believe in the power of performance. Regular opportunities to perform—whether in formal recitals, casual studio classes, or community settings—motivate students to work hard, celebrate progress, and develop the confidence to share their music with others.
